The Brooks family is always interesting to shoot, for the first time I wasn’t so nervous. I have been nervous in the past because Michael, the man behind the very popular The South Magazine, has had me photograph his family for the last three years or so. Both him and his wife are so calm and creative that I try some of my crazier ideas on them. I love the photography in his magazine and am thrilled to document his children as they grow.
