I really thought this shoot was going to go nowhere for a second. I thought we were not going to be able to pry her off of her mom’s leg! In this situation I am thinking in my head any tricks that I can do to distract the kid and have her see things my way. Nothing was working! So I had some plato in my bag from a birthday party and thank goodness what a lifesaver! She is so so pretty and so sweet! (though she had me work for it this time!)

I was watching a vhs the other night from a family Thanksgiving from 1986. It was a little strange watching it because I can remember that day so vividly and it almost gets mixed up in my dreams. So watching this was like being in a dream but seeing it pan out on my tv. Some family members have passed away so it was nice to hear their voice again, some were babies and are all grown up now. It was nice to hear the laughs, the squeals of my cousins and my grandparents voice. It reminds me how time goes by so quickly and how life changes sometimes in unexpected ways. I took these of Alexa Sunday, I really do not take out my camera enough with her and catch the moments in between that I know someday will seem like a dream.

Seniors {Class of 2011}

Yesterday I photographed a beautiful junior. Her eyes were so stunning and such a beautiful shape and a sweet personality to go along. She let me know she was a little nervous but as soon as we got started she was a natural.

I got a little carried away shooting this day. Great outfits, great light , and the later it got oh mama the light was just beautiful. It was hard to pick just a few from this session but here we go. I am loving the marsh, I have always had a slight obsession with it but am having so much fun exploring different areas of Savannah.
